YOUR 9 STEP GUIDE TO APPLICATION
1) Once you have decided which current position interests you, you will need to make an application using our on line application facility.
2) All applications will then be reviewed and short listed. We reserve the right not to respond to unsuccessful applicants.
3) Our HR Department will call the short listed candidates to engage in an informal discussion. This enables the candidates to find out more about the job, the company and its benefits and for us to hear how you come across and what interests you. Attitude, enthusiasm and personality are important to us.
4) Depending on the experience reflected on the application form, and the level of the position applied for, the following procedure will ensue.
Entry and Junior Level Applicants :-
5) The first screening interview date will then be negotiated for the candidate to come in and do a series of tests. If the candidate attains a 80% pass then e/she will go forward to the screening interview.
6) The candidate will be contacted for a 2nd interview by a panel consisting of the Department Manager and her Head of Department. Depending on the outcome, a third interview may be necessary.
Intermediate and Senior Level Applicants:-
7) Steps 1 to 4 will apply .
8) Thereafter interview one will be established with a Thompsons appropriate panel and should that go well, a second interview will be arranged.
9) If you are successful, you will be exposed to our Induction Programme and enrolled into our Training Department to complete a 6-8 week training programme which prepares you for the job function employed for.
