We have however also included restaurants of distinction, on each tour that are not only noted for their excellent cuisine, but also for their picturesque setting. South Africa is blessed with a rich coastline, where seafood delicacies from prawns and crayfish to perlemoen (local delicacy), and line fish are common menu items. Cape Town particularly is well known as a city bursting with culinary delights.

Accommodation
The range of hotels we offer have been selected to cover a broad spectrum of budgets. The accommodation within our itineraries, apart from our escorted overland tours are categorized as follows: standard, deluxe and superior deluxe.

In all three of these ratings we have tried where possible to include more than one option of hotel. All our product has been selected taking into consideration the hotel's location, food and service and general ambiance. The majority are tried-and-tested. Positive feedback from our clients have assured us the hotels "work".

Every hotel has been personally inspected and checked by a Thompsons Representative to ensure that it meets our standards and your expectations.
