Damaraland Camp is located in the Torra Conservancy, situated in the Huab River Valley in one of the best wilderness areas in Namibia, with vistas across stark plains, ancient valleys and the soaring peaks of the Brandberg Mountains. 577km from Windhoek International Airport, and 438km from Swakopmund.

Accommodation

There are 10 large Meru-style walk-in tents, with en-suite facilities, in this camp.

The main living area is under canvas and comprises of a dining room, lounge and pub. An open campfire and outdoor ?boma? can be enjoyed during calm evenings. The camp also boasts a small natural rock swimming pool, which nestles at the foot of an ancient waterfall in a nearby ravine. Activities include mountain biking, nature drives and walks. On the nature drives guests can expect to see species such as desert elephant, oryx, kudu, springbuck, cheetah and black rhino.
