Etosha National Park is a huge oasis in the midst of a semi-desert, providing one of the most extraordinary game viewing experiences in Namibia. The Etosha Pan supports a variety of wildlife from desert elephant and rhino to lion and cheetah, and a myriad of bird and reptile life.

Highlights

Day 1: Arrive Etosha
Travel to Etosha. Known as 'the place of dry water', Etosha National Park offers a truly unique wildlife experience.

Day 2: Etosha
Explore the waterholes along this enormous saltpan. Etosha is one of Africa's major wildlife sanctuaries, covering an area of about 22 270 square kilometres. Animals observed in the park include the spotted and brown hyena, the 'Big Five', black-faced impala, cheetah, various antelope and about 325 species of birds.

Day 3: Depart Etosha
After breakfast depart Etosha and continue with your onward journey.

There are numerous opportunities for you to add to your Etosha Safari Getaway - just speak to one of our Consultants for further ideas - why not add on a night or two in Swakopmund (one of the region's adventure hubs) and try your hand at dune boarding or hot air ballooning. From here travel down to Sossusvlei - this area of the Namib Desert boasts some of the highest sand dunes in the world.
