Thanks to its extraordinary natural features, it has become a haven for adventure seekers and adrenaline junkies, from white water rafters to hot air balloonists. There are quad biking trails, horse trails and a 27 metre abseil... not for the fainthearted. Spend two nights on safari in the Kruger National Park, then extend your vacation to take in a heli-flip and champagne brunch, with a bird's eye view 'with a difference', you will not be disappointed.

Quad Bike Trails

A variety of exciting trails are offered in the scenic riverine forests of hte Sabie River Valley. Experienced guides accompany you on each trip. 250cc Quad bikes are used on all trails. One can ride solo or with another person on the same bike. Safety equipment is supplied.

Horse Trails & Adventures

Explore the beautiful Sabie River Valley on horseback, passing through the surrounding farmland, fruit orchards and along the riverbanks. The trails are suitable for experienced riders or novices. Don't forget your binoculars as you may just spot a malachite kingfisher, a purple crested loerie or a long-crested eagle, as well as a hippo or two!

Abseiling

A refreshing experience! A spectacular waterfall marks the start of our white water tubing adventure on the upper Sabie River, which is a beautiful area accessible to few. Bob down the river on specially designed tubes, past indigenous forests through a scenic valley. The trip lasts about 3 hours.

Balloon Safaris

Before sunrise, travel to the launch site and help prepare for launch. Enjoy a mug of piping hot tea or coffee as the balloon inflates and the sun begins to emerge. Then it's up, up and away to soar with the birds. The balloon ride itself lasts about an hour but the entire experience, including breakfast at a country lodge, lasts for about 4 hours.
