Hazyview is located on the outskirts of the southern Kruger National Park within South Africa's Mpumalanga province, and is the base from which Thompsons Africa operate open vehicle safaris into the Kruger National Park, as well as a wonderful range of day tours and adventure activities, on the outskirts of Kruger, a countryside that boasts not only a breathtaking canyon (Blyde River Canyon), but also an abundance of waterfalls, all within a lush subtropical environment.
Hazyview is an exciting hub of activity, centered around tourism, with great curio shopping, art galleries and restaurants. Our offices are not only well placed to offer early morning, late afternoon and full day safaris into Kruger, as well as walking safaris into this awesome wildlife sanctuary, the area also has so much 'more' to offer tourists, that a few nights enjoying the many adventure options is most popular. From hot air ballooning, heli-flips over waterfalls and spectacular canyon rock formations, to elephant safaris, one can also visit an endangered wildlife centre, a chimpanzee eden and partake in a Shangaan cultural feast.
