Hippo Hollow has a timeless 'Out-of-Africa' feel. Accommodation consists of 63 thatched en-suite units. The chalets are semi self-catering, consisting of a gas barbeque and kitchenette area with tea/coffee making facilities. The 26 hotel rooms have private balconies overlooking the Sabie River and picturesque gardens.

Hippo Hollow has an à la carte restaurant where you can enjoy fine cuisine, accompanied by South African wines selected from the wine cellar. In the evening enjoy a cocktail on the patio overlooking the Sabi River, where you may hear hippos.
