Day 1: Arrive Mahé On arrival in Mahé, transfer to your selected hotel. Enjoy your piece of paradise at a luxurious hotel set on the beautiful main island of Seychelles. Apart from the gorgeous beaches, the landscape climbs up hills, is covered in dense rainforests frequently shrouded in mist - one can certainly call Mahé intriguing! With plenty of art galleries and cultural attractions avail-able to the tourist, the island boasts a rich heritage and history.
Day 2: Mahé Swim in clear water, under the shade of palm trees or explore the island. Mahé's main tourism centre at Beau Vallon has an excellent bathing beach and there are also good facilities for sailing, waterskiing, windsurfing and banana rides. Other places of interest to visit include Baie Lazare with its long expanse of beach and the artists' studios in Anse a la Mouche and Anse aux Poules Bleues in the south. Forming the backbone of the island is a spectacular mountain range that includes Morne Seychellois, the island's highest peak. Around the peak is one of the island's beautiful national parks, offering good hiking and stunning scenery.
Day 3: Arrive Praslin On arrival in Praslin from Mahé (a mere 15 minute flight-hop), transfer to your selected hotel. Praslin is the second largest island within the archipelago and offers some of the most beautiful beaches within the whole of the Seychelles. In its limited area, the richness and variety of plant and animal life is astounding. Fantastically shaped huge granite boulders dot the island. Coral reefs teeming with over 900 species of fish, living coral and jewel toned shells paint a living seascape.
Day 4 & 5: Praslin Most of the interior of the island is virgin forest and the exquisitely beautiful Vallee de Mai, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1984, is the only place where the coco de mer palm is found in the world. A visit to the reserve is a must for any visitor to the island. The rare black parrot, Seychelles' national bird, inhabits the Valle de Mai, and if you're very fortunate you may catch a glimpse of this elusive creature.
Day 6: Arrive La Digue After breakfast make your way to La Digue Island. La Digue is most famous for its beautiful landscape, offering unique rock formations reaching down to the sea. The ancient granite rocks are worn away to leave breathtaking structures. La Digue is surrounded by beautiful white sandy beaches and spectacular coves providing a sense of isolation and privacy. For the more adventurous the island offers a number of options including a climb to the top of the mountain at the heart of the island which offers a wonderful view of the island, alternatively, visit a working plantation where you can watch the gathering and processing of coconuts or examine the vanilla plantation. La Digue is a destination out of a dream!
Day 7: Depart La Digue After breakfast this morning you are transferred to Mahé to continue with your onward arrangements.
