The lodge comprises of 6 spacious thatched rooms, with private decks that overlook the river, and all have en suite showers and bathrooms. The main area of hte lodge features a bar with a sundeck that is suspended over the river, a dining room with outside deck, a reading room and a plunge pool.
Activities at Lunga focus on the river from which the camp takes its name, with the opportunity to explore this fantatsic system by boat, on foot along its banks or by vehicle in the fringing woodlands and 'dambos' (open, grassy areas). Day and night drives are offered as are walking safaris, boat safaris and fishing.
KAFUE NATIONAL PARK This is the largest Zambian National Park, covering an area of 22 500 square kilometres (the size of Wales), with over 150 species of mammal recorded in the park. Renowned for regular sightings of lion as well as leopard, wild dog, elephant, buffalo, cheetah, hippo and large numbers of plains game from zebra, wildebeest, lechwe, puku and sable... you will not be disappointed. The birding too is phenomenal.
