Namibia Rail Travel The Desert Express Rail Safari is an ideal mode of transport between Windhoek and Swakopmund and is an experience all on its own.  Even those on a self-drive itinerary can enjoy this rail getaway as you can 'stow' your vehicle on the train for a nominal fee and continue with your holiday once the train has reached its destination.

Flying Namibia Packages
As Namibia is a vast country, the most ideal way to 'get-around' is to fly by light airplane.  Not only do you reach your destination in the quickest possible way, but flying over the deserts and rocky plains of Namibia is an awesome experience.  Not only are the sights unforgettable, but flying in a light aircraft itself is a great adventure and provides an alternate perspective on the country you are visiting.  Chartered and scheduled light aircraft flights are readily available and are an affordable option for most international travellers.
