Thompsons Africa offer a 5 day Private & Fully Escorted Tour through Southern Namibia. Travel from Windhoek and visit the dunes at Sossusvlei before heading to the seaside resort of Swakopmund.

Itinerary

Highlights

Day 1: Windhoek / Sossusvlei
This morning your private guide will meet you, and your journey begins travelling southwards to your lodge, situated at the entrance to Sossusvlei.

Day 2: Sossusvlei
Visit the famous Sossusvlei, a clay pan surrounded by some of the highest sand dunes in the world.

Day 3: Sossusvlei / Swakopmund
Head towards Swakopmund via Ganab. Swakopmund is a popular seaside resort with a slightly nostalgic atmosphere, and has many great activities to indulge in.

Day 4: Swakopmund
This morning transfer to Walvis Bay for a boat excursion to see dolphins, seal colonies and birds.

Day 5: Windhoek
Drive back to Windhoek International Airport for your onward arrangements or you could extend in Swakopmund, and continue on our Northern private fully escorted tour.

This tour can start and end in Swakopmund at a surcharge - please speak to a consultant for further details.

For an exciting onward option, we recommend you travel back to Windhoek by rail on board the Desert Express (not included in package price). Details on request.
