Itinerary

Highlights

Day 1: Mombasa / Tsavo East National Park
Depart Mombasa Town this morning and travel to the Bachuma Gate, the entry point into Tsavo East National Park (driving time is approximately 2.5 hours). Driving through the park, you appreciate the immensity of the plains and the large diversity of wildlife. Arrive at Satao Camp, surrounded by a lush wooded oasis of tamarind trees, in time for lunch. This afternoon, enjoy a game drive and visit Aruba Dam.

Day 2: Satao Camp
Before breakfast depart on an early morning game drive and then relax before this afternoon's activity. Tsavo is home to a wide variety of animals including lion, leopard, cheetah, zebra, giraffe, serval cats, buffalo and elephant, as well as abundant bird life.

Day 3: Tsavo East National Park / Mombasa
Depart on an early morning game drive, returning in time for breakfast. Travel back to the town of Mombasa, arriving at lunch time.
