Skeleton Coast Camp is situated in the heart of the private concession of the Skeleton Coast Park, one of the planet?s most inhospitable, but hauntingly beautiful places. Access is only by light aircraft, a 3 hour flight from Windhoek. Guests are able to access the Skeleton Coast on a Wednesday for a 3 night tour, or on a Thursday for a 4 night tour.

Accommodation

The camp has 6 Meru-style tents, each with spacious bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms.

The terrain is rugged and desolated, hence this camp will be enjoyed by those who are looking for a true wilderness experience. Meals are served in the open air ?dining room? under an ancient leadwood tree. Breakfast is enjoyed at the camp before heading out into the wilderness for a full/half day excursion. Guests can enjoy nature drives or walks, visits to the clay castles of the Hourusib River, Rocky Point, the roaring dunes, Cape fur seal colonies, Himba villages and shipwreck sites.
