Itinerary

Highlights

Day 1: Arrive Johannesburg / Drakensberg
After meeting your private guide, depart Johannesburg, heading southwards to the massive Drakensberg Mountain range, which is a 200km long mountainous wonderland and proclaimed World Heritage Site.

Day 2: Drakensberg
Enjoy a walk in the nearby Royal Natal National Park, with truly specta-cular scenery.

Day 3: Drakensberg / Battlefields
Drive through the towns of Ladysmith and Dundee, sites of immense importance in the Anglo-Zulu Wars and discover this vibrant history with your guide. Travel onwards to Zululand, arriving in the town of Hluhluwe in the late afternoon.

Day 4: Hluhluwe
Enjoy an open safari vehicle game drive into the Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Park. Home to black and white rhino, elephant, buffalo, leopard, lion and many antelope, you are assured of some good game viewing.

Day 5: Hluhluwe / Johannesburg
Time this morning for another game drive (own account) before travelling back to Johannesburg, arriving in the late afternoon for a drop off at your hotel or the airport.
