After Kruger and Table Mountain National Park, this is probably the most popular in the country. It consists of beautiful stretches of coastal forest and is renowned for its excellent birdlife. The park stretches 80km along the coast and 5km out to sea. It offers one of the most famous hiking trails in South Africa; the 'Otter Trail' (5 days, 4 nights) and the newly opened 'Dolphin Trail' (2 days, 3 nights) luxury hiking that follows the breathtaking coastline. Enjoy spectacular views of dolphins and whales that swim close in to shore. A scuba divers paradise, the park offers a unique underwater trail.
