Victoria Falls is home to one of the finest natural wonders: as the Zambezi River takes a dramatic plunge over the Batoka Gorge, drenching the surrounding cliffs in a fine spray of water, tourists will be delighted with this natural spectacle of falling water and rainbows, affectionately referred to as Vic Falls. Victoria Falls is an adrenaline junkies dream-come-true and offers an array of awesome experiences from bungi jumping, white water rafting, jet boating, ele-back safaris and more. Combine Victoria Falls with the safari action in Chobe Botswana, and you have adventure, fun and a superb safari experience all rolled into one. Highlights

Day 1: Arrive Livingstone
On arrival at Livingstone Airport a Thompsons Representative will meet, and transfer you to your hotel. This afternoon enjoy a romantic sundowner cruise on the Zambezi River on board the 'African Queen'.

Day 2 - 3: Livingstone
Depart on a morning tour to Victoria Falls, one of the 7 natural wonders of the world. See 650 million litres of water from the Zambezi River crash into the chasm below, from some of the many vantage points along the pathway at the top of The Falls. This afternoon you are free to indulge in one of the many adventure activities that The Falls has to offer - take a look at our day tours page for innumerable activities to choose from.

Day 4: Livingstone / Chobe
Transfer by road from Victoria Falls to Chobe in Botswana. The Chobe National Park is a reserve renowned for its impressive elephant populations, which you will no doubt witness on an exciting game drive late this afternoon in an open safari vehicle. Chobe is home to all of Africa's Big Five, along with many other species of antelope and reptile as well as a sheer astounding number of birds - bird lovers will be entranced.

Day 5: Chobe
Enjoy another exhilarating game drive in an open safari vehicle in the early morning, and experience the romance of the Chobe River on a sundowner safari cruise.

Day 6: Depart Chobe / Livingstone
This morning enjoy your last game activity before checking out and transferring back to Livingstone Airport for your onward journey.

Optional Pre & Post Tours

For a real back to nature experience, why not replace the Chobe accommodated portion of this holiday with our Chobe Wildlife Tented Safari. When we say tented, we certainly don't mean basic - situated in the heart of the Chobe National Park, fire side bush cuisine, accompanied by the sounds of the African bush pressing close, is an awesome experience.

Another option to 'replace' your Chobe accommodated portion of your safari holiday, is to hop on board the Ichobezi Safari Boat. This intimate 'double decker' boat (only four cabins on board) will provide you with elevated views of the Chobe National Park and all of the wildlife contained therein. Along with excellent cuisine, a small plunge pool on deck, drinks at the ready and comfortable cabins - this is a fantastic and 'different' safari option. The boat in itself is a unique and enjoyable experience.
