Highlights

Day 1: Arrive Cape Town
On arrival at Cape Town International Airport a Thompsons Representative will meet and assist you to collect your hired car. Travel to the second oldest town in South Africa, Stellenbosch, and check into your hotel. This historical town features many Cape Dutch buildings and also has one of the oldest and largest universities in South Africa.

Day 2: Stellenbosch
Sample wines of merit produced in this area at several world renowned wine farms. Stroll through the streets of Stellenbosch town, browsing the many interesting curio shops. The area offers superb scenic views over mountains, vineyards and orchards covered with wild flowers in spring. Perhaps travel further afield exploring other wine routes, as well as a visit to Paarl, so named for its Pearl Mountain (Paarl meaning 'Pearl' in Dutch).

Day 3: Depart Cape Town
Spend the morning at leisure, before returning to Cape Town International Airport for your onward journey.
