Day 1: (Tue) Arrive Nairobi Arrive and transfer to Nairobi Serena Hotel for overnight. Kenya's capital is cosmopolitan, lively, interesting and pleasantly landscaped.
Day 2: (Wed) Nairobi / Amboseli National Park After breakfast fly from Nairobi to Amboseli National Park at the foot of Mt Kilimanjaro. Enjoy an afternoon game drive. The snow-capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro dominates every aspect of Amboseli. Wildlife here includes the zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, impala, caracal and serval cat, lion, leopard, cheetah, buffalo, wild dog, and hippo, as well as over 400 species of birds.
Day 3: (Thu) Amboseli National Park Spend the whole day in Amboseli game viewing. Amboseli National Park lies at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, and offers visitors the best opportunity to view the endangered black rhino.
Day 4: (Fri) Amboseli National Park / Samburu National Reserve After breakfast fly from Amboseli to Samburu National Reserve. This reserve is rich with wild animals and birds. The reserve is situated on the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro River in Kenya. This means plenty of water, trees and shade to attract wildlife like elephant, lion, giraffe and zebra from the surrounding savannah plains. Leopards are also regularly spotted.
Day 5: (Sat) Samburu National Park Spend the whole day on a game drive in Samburu National Park. Samburu boasts the most unusual fauna of all East Africa's major savannah reserves. There is the densely striped zebra, the giraffe, the regal oryx and a comically long-horned gazelle.
Day 6: (Sun) Samburu National Reserve / Masai Mara Game Reserve Today fly across the Great Rift Valley to the Masai Mara Reserve and spend the afternoon game viewing in this world renowned reserve.
Day 7: (Mon) Masai Mara National Reserve Spend the day observing wild animals in the Masai Mara Game Reserve. The large concentration of game in this relatively small park has earned it the reputation as the most prolific game viewing spot in Africa. The reserve borders Tanzania and the two countries share the vast Serengeti plains, with wildlife free to roam between Kenya and Tanzania in search of food. The concentration of game in the Mara during the mass migration is mind-blowing, and this is one of the few areas where you are likely to see the 'Big Five' - buffalo, elephant, rhino, lion and leopard.
Day 8: (Tue) Masai Mara National Reserve / Nairobi Board the morning flight to Nairobi, where you connect with your onward arrangements.
