Day 1: Upington / Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park
On arrival at Upington Airport you will be collected and transferred through to Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park. Spend the next 3 nights at !Xaus Lodge, which offers a remote, tranquil wilderness experience. This afternoon, enjoy a sunset pan drive and dune walk to ‘listen’ to the sun set over the Kalahari with an evening game drive back to the lodge.
Day 2: Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park
Today enjoy a full day game drive though the dunes to the Auob River, in search of the famous black-maned lion of the Kalahari, cheetah, hyena, bat-eared fox, giraffe, springbok, wildebeest and jackal to whom the Kgalagadi is home.
Day 3: Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park
Today enjoy a guided walk accompanies by Bushmen (legendary hunter-gathers) to the re-crated cultural village to visit Bushman crafters at work, and gain an insight into the Mier and Khomani San communities.
Day 4: Depart Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park / Upington
This morning after breakfast, you will be transferred back to Upington in time for your onward flight.
