Day 1: (Tue) Greater Kruger Park (D)
Clients depart Hazyview by 13h30 (allowing clients to connect on the Johannesburg shuttle if necessary) in an open safari vehicle with a quick stop at the local store, where you can use this opportunity to acquire personal necessities, as there are no shops at our camp sites. The areas we use, offer excellent game viewing - we can expect to see general game, possibly lion and elephant and maybe even an elusive leopard. Each site that we utilize, are situated in areas of unspoiled natural beauty, and are rich in bird and animal life. On arrival, guests are shown to their tent before meeting for sundowners and dinner. We hope to be in for a noise-filled, exciting evening!
Day 2: (Wed) Kruger Park (BD)
An early rise accompanied by tea and coffee, before setting out to explore one of Africa’s greatest game reserves. From our privileged private wilderness sites we have the freedom to access areas rarely visited. Chances of seeing one or all of the famed ‘Big Five’ are excellent, and of course the smaller plains game species and our wonderful African bird-life is prolific. Morning safaris are complemented by delicious ‘bush breakfasts’ and a siesta is always possible during the heat of the African day! As the afternoon cools down, we make our way back into the bush for an exciting evening safari by spotlight.
Day 3: (Thu) Greater Kruger Park
Early morning wake up accompanied by tea, coffee and biscuits before proceeding on a morning game drive until brunch, which is served at a picnic site. We spend the remainder of the day exploring the reserve before returning to camp for a late afternoon siesta. Dinner is served around our campfire and opportunities exist to view game by spotlight from the camp site.
Day 4: (Fri) Greater Kruger Park
Our only ‘sleep in’ of the safari. After brunch we drive back to Hazyview not without searching for that final memorable game sighting. Back in Hazyview by 12h30 (giving clients time to connect with the Johannesburg shuttle at 12h30 if required) where the Kruger and Sabi Sand Tented Safari terminates. |
