Day 1: (Tue) Arrive Nairobi
Arrive in the capital city of Nairobi and transfer to your hotel for overnight.
Day 2: (Wed) Nairobi / Masai Mara Game Reserve
Drive past the extinct Volcano of Mt Longonot and Suswa into the homelands of the Masai. The Masai Mara constitutes the northern stretch of the Serengeti and has the richest concentration of animals in Kenya. After lunch you have the oppor-tunity to observe the unique world of the Masai Mara.
Day 3: (Thu) Masai Mara Game Reserve
Spend a full day on a game drive which will take you through the vast plains of the Masai Mara searching for the ‘Big Five’: elephant, rhino, buffalo, lion and leopard.
Day 4: (Fri) Masai Mara Game Reserve/ Lake Nakuru National Park
Today you journey to Lake Nakuru, renown-ed for its flocks of flamingos and pelicans. The park also boasts over 30 rhino as well as a large population of leopard. This afternoon enjoy a game drive in the park.
Day 5: (Sat) Lake Nakuru National Park/ Amboseli National Park
Start with an early morning game drive through Lake Nakuru National Park, then drive a short distance to Nairobi for lunch in the Carnivore Restaurant. After lunch continue onto Amboseli National Park, where you can enjoy the beautiful views of Mt Kilimanjaro.
Day 6: (Sun) Amboseli National Park / Tsavo West National Park
Enjoy an early breakfast before departing for a game drive into Amboseli National Park. After lunch at Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge depart for Tsavo West. Drive past the amazing lava flows of the Shetani Rocks. This afternoons game drive is in Tsavo West National Park.
Day 7: (Mon) Tsavo West National Park/ Tsavo East National Park
Start with an early morning game drive before breakfast, followed by mid morning game drive with a visit to the Mzima Springs, before returning to the lodge for lunch. This afternoon we make our way to Tsavo East National Park, with a game drive en route.
Day 8: (Tue) Tsavo East National Park / Mombasa
Another early morning game drive before travelling to Mombasa, where the journey ends.
