Day 1: Arrive Durban
On arrival at Durban International Airport a Thompsons Representative will meet and assist you with the collection of your hired car (own account). Make your way to the Drakensberg Mountains, an area of spectacular scenery. You travel through the Midlands of KwaZulu-Natal and here you can explore the delightful Midlands Meander arts and crafts route.
Day 2: Drakensberg
Today enjoy the natural beauty of these magnificent mountains. Take a scenic walking/hiking trail or go fly-fishing for trout in the cold mountain streams and lakes. The Drakensberg mountains of South Africa or uKhahlamba (the Barrier of Spears) are a 200 kilometre long mountainous wonderland and have been declared a World Heritage Site.
Day 3: Depart Durban
This morning after breakfast travel back to Durban International Airport, and check in for your onward flight.
