A natural extension to the Garden Route, Kariega Game Reserve, a ‘Big Five’ game lodge is unique as it offers unforgettable game viewing from open safari vehicles, safe walking and a diversity of activities which include river cruises, canoening and mountain biking for the whole family.

•  Children 6 years and over can enjoy morning and evening game drives, including the     river cruise, as well as many hiking trails, canoeing and mountain biking.
•  Children 5 years may go on game drives in the area of the reserve where they are     able to enjoy sightings of rhino, hippo, giraffe, zebra and other various antelope     species, as well as enjoying the river cruise.
•  A qualified game ranger also takes children of all ages on a daily guided walk, for a     once in a lifetime experience. This walk is undertaken on the eastern section of the     reserve, with is abundant in game. Upon departure the ranger will issue a ‘Junior     Ranger Certificate’ to the children, which is a lovely reminder of your visit to Kariega     Game Reserve.
