Day 1: Arrive Johannesburg
On arrival at OR Tambo International Airport (Johannesburg) you are met and transferred to your selected game lodge within the Madikwe Game Reserve. Known as the ‘Heritage Province’, the North West Province is home to the fantastic Madikwe Game Reserve, which has the ‘Big Five’, fantastic bird life and is known for sizeable packs of the endangered wild dog.
Day 2: Madikwe
Experienced rangers will take you into the bush on dawn and dusk safaris. Not only does this reserve boast the ‘Big Five’ but it also has the ‘Super Seven’! This adds cheetah and wild dog to the traditional five - leopard, lion, buffalo, elephant and rhino. Spend today exploring this vast reserve.
Day 3: Depart Johannesburg
After a final dawn safari and a hearty breakfast, you bid farewell to the African bush and transfer back to OR Tambo International Airport (Johannesburg) for your onward journey.
