Day 1: Arrive Cape Town / Franschhoek
On arrival at Cape Town International Airport you will be met and transferred to the ‘French Quarter’ – Franschhoek – situated in the beautiful Cape Winelands. The green valleys and rolling vineyards are surrounded by mountain ranges, while the town boasts many historic homesteads and monuments.
Day 2-3: Franschhoek
Stroll through the pretty streets of Franschhoek, with its many pavement cafes, interesting shops and restaurants. Franschhoek is renowned for its food and wine, and we recommend you sample some of the fine wine produced here.
Day 4: Franschhoek / Cape Town / Kruger National Park
After breakfast you will be collected and transferred back to Cape Town International Airport, in time for your flight into Kruger (flight not included). On arrival at Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport you will be met and transferred to your lodge, which is located on a private concession within the famous Kruger National Park. This unique camp is built in traditional Tsonga tribal design and offers a luxury ‘African village’ feel.
Day 5-6: Kruger National Park
Spend the day exploring this diverse area through a variety of game activities including open vehicle game drives and guided bush walks. Game viewing in this area is truly spectacular and home to many creatures both great and small – Africa’s ‘Big Five’ – lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo, as well as a diverse variety of antelope, birds, reptiles and insects.
Day 7: Depart Kruger National Park
Check out this morning after an early morning safari, and transfer back to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport in time for your onward flight.
