Day 1: Arrive Entebbe (B)
On arrival at Entebbe Airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel.

Day 2: Entebbe / Kibale Forest National Park (B, L, D)
After a relaxed breakfast we depart Entebbe and head west to Fort Portal, enjoying a packed lunch en route. Fort Portal rests in the shadow of the fabled ‘Mountains of the Moon’ famous for the many tea plantations. We continue to Kibale National Park, while passing the region of the Crater Lakes where we explore some small lakes, before heading to our accommodation for tonight.

Day 3: Kibale Forest National Park (B, L, D)
Today the forest opens its doors for sensational chimp tracking. Kibale Forest is reputed as having the greatest variety and highest concentration of primates in East Africa. Enjoy a guided nature walk in the tropical rainforest in search of the wild chimpanzee, red-tailed monkey and black-and-white colobus monkey. After lunch we transfer to the Bigodi Swamp for another, completely unique nature walk. The Bigodi Swamp Walk is an initiative of the local community and is known for its rich diversity of birds and primates.

Day 4 : Kibale Forest National Park / Queen Elizabeth National Park (B, L, D)
After breakfast we transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Enjoy lunch and relax at the swimming pool before departing on a game drive in search of wildlife, including warthog, buffaloes, waterbucks and elephants.

Day 5: Queen Elizabeth National Park (B, L, D)
The day begins early as we start with a morning game drive and head to the mating ground of the Uganda Kobs. We search for lions, elephants, buffaloes and other wild animals. In the afternoon we take on a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, a natural channel between Lake Edward and Lake George. The abundance of birdlife, elephants, buffaloes and hundreds of hippos that converge at the shores to cool off, ensures that this cruise will be one of the highlights of your safari.

Day 6: Queen Elizabeth National Park / Bwindi National Park (B, L, D)
After breakfast we head towards the south, passing the southern sector of the national park (road conditions permitting) known as Ishasha and famous for the tree climbing lions. In the afternoon we arrive at Bwindi National Park, home of the endangered mountain gorillas.

Day 7: Bwindi National Park (B, L, D)
The highlight of your safari: a meeting with the gentle giants of Bwindi! Hikers will love tracking in the beautiful ecosystem of the park. The hike may take as much as 8 hours in steep and muddy conditions, sometimes with rain overhead, but it will definitely be worthwhile as you observe the gorillas closely while they eat, play and rest - a unique and unforgettable experience! Those who prefer not to participate in the gorilla tracking can go for a guided forest walk or explore the surroundings with the Buhoma Village Walk.

Day 8: Bwindi National Park / Lake Mburo National Park (B, L, D)
After breakfast we depart the impenetrable forest of Bwindi and head to Lake Mburo National Park. After checking into your accommodation, depart on a boat ride on the lake and enjoy the rich bird life and the many hippos cooling off.

Day 9: Lake Mburo National Park / Kampala (B, L)
We set off early today on a guided nature walk. Lake Mburo is the only national park where you can experience a safari on foot. Return to the lodge for breakfast and with a game drive on our way out, we depart the protected area and drive back to Kampala. We arrive in the afternoon with the remainder of the day at leisure visiting local shops or relaxing at the swimming pool.
Overnight at Le Petit Village
Day 10: Depart Kampala (B, L)
Enriched with an experience of a lifetime and unforgettable memories, we say goodbye to the Pearl of Africa. Join our guide on a city tour to visit some interesting and historical sites before being transferred to Entebbe Airport for your departure flight.
