The Boma – Dinner & Drum Show is a ‘must do’ Victoria Falls dining and entertainment experience, specialising in traditional African food, drumming and dancing. The food is cooked and served in the style and quantity of a lavish feast, including irresistible desserts. On arrival, you are dressed in a chitenge (traditional sarong) and welcomed into a vibrant atmosphere in which the tantalising aromas of local dishes and game meat on the braai (barbecue) fill the restaurant, which is partially open to the star-filled African sky. Your meal begins with a mouth-watering platter of starters whilst the buffet includes soup from the campfire, a range of salads, game meat cooked on a braai (barbecue), followed by desserts. Vegetarian options are also available, as well as local dishes such as peanut butter spinach. You can also look forward to outstanding performances by traditional singers and dancers, and enjoy an energising interactive drumming show. A face painter, storyteller, hair braider and fortune teller also form part of this festive evening.

Take the 111 metre bungi jump plunge into the Batoka Gorge, with the Zambezi rushing up to meet you, only to stop 10 metres short of the river water. You’re given the choice of a single jump alone, or tandem with a partner. It’s exhilarating, and as with any professional organisation, you’ll be given a comprehensive safety briefing prior to the jump, and are assisted back to the bridge with the help of support crew.

Calling all brave-hearts! This one is not for the feint-hearted, but it’s heaven for adrenaline thrill seekers. We’ve taken the excitement of river boarding and the thrill of river rafting, and put them together to provide an insane day of adventure. Wild and exciting, this Combo combines rapids which can be surfed on the river board, and others which have to ridden in a raft. Enough adrenaline for you? Not really....You’re going to be surfing the Zambezi River below the Falls on a body board (accompanied by an expert), and if tales are to be believed, life is going to be awfully tame after this... Note: You will be required to walk out of the gorge.

This is a sensational trip - land- and water-based game viewing. Your first game sighting is from The Chobe River, teaming with animals, you sitting securely on board, just off the riverbank, game viewing from the relaxing vantage point of a boat. You’re on the mighty Chobe River which flows through the renowned Chobe National Park providing a haven for herds of grazing animals and bird life. Just sit back, relax, and keep those binoculars handy. FLYING FOX, GORGE SWING AND ZIPLINE

Half a day of extreme sports, set on the edge of the Batoka Gorge, 300 metres away from the Victoria Falls. You could start with Abseiling (moving down the slope backwards) or ‘rap jump’ facing forward down the 53 metre gorge. Or why not take to flight on the Flying Fox, which allows you to ‘fly’ over the gorge while attached to a cable - you’ll be winched back to earth. And if you’re still hankering for more, here’s one you’ll love…The Gorge Swing. In short, you throw yourself off the edge of the gorge in a body harness, and freefall before ending your jump with numerous pendulum swings. Alternatively, launch yourself off Batoka Gorge, decend over the water, reaching speeds of 106km an hour....Ziplining thrill.

You are collected from your hotel in Victoria Falls Town and taken on a short transfer to Chinotimba township. Guests will be hosted by a local family in their residence and served a traditional African homemade meal, (it can be lunch or dinner). The authentic home cooked meal includes sadza or rice as main dish together with beef stew, chicken stew, kapenta fish, Soya chunks, mopane worms, kale and pumpkin leaves. Grilled potatoes, and a green salad complete the dishes. Seasonal traditional fruits, mazoe orange crush and tea are also served. Don’t feel like you must try it all but it will be great fun if you do!

This is a unique elephant experience that is brought to life by the artistic strokes of the guest fingertips, while surrounded by the African bush. After interacting with the elephants, you will make your way down to the adjacent waterhole and mud wallow where, under the shade of an enormous Mopane tree, you will find a chair and easel - each set up with a fresh sheet of paper. Brightly coloured aprons and palettes with bright splotches of paint will also be handed out. Enjoy an intimate experience with a small herd of elephants at Wild Horizons Wildlife Sanctuary and Orphanage. After an informative talk and video clip about the African elephant, its history and current threats, as well as about the herd and how it came to be in our care, proceed to an area in the bush a short distance away for your interaction. Dedicated staff are committed to the use of positive reinforcement elephant training methods and as a result, the elephants are relaxed and enjoy mingling with guests. Get introduced to the elephants, touching and interacting with them, and have the opportunity to take photographs with the elephants. Witness the special relationship the staff share with the elephants and become a part of it. Marvel at their size and watch them behaving normally; browsing and interacting with one another. After meeting these amazing creatures, enjoy a light buffet lunch consisting of fresh, hearty fare (including local beers, wines, soft drinks, water, coffee and tea).
